Karen Connair joins Marcum as a Tax Partner in Irvine

Marcum has hired Karen Connair as a tax partner in the Irvine office.

Ms Connair joins from Allen, Haight & Monaghan where she has been a tax partner since December. She spent most of her earlier tax career with EY, progressing to Executive Director.

She provides a broad array of federal, state and international tax consulting and tax compliance services. Ms Connair specializes in serving large and middle market privately held companies and partnerships with multi-state and multi-entity operations as well as high net-worth individuals.

Ms. Connair is an active member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), where she served as the 2014-2015 President for the Orange County/Long Beach chapter and currently chairs the chapter’s Financial Literacy program. At the state level, she is a chapter council representative and member of the Membership Committee. Previously, she was a committee representative for the 2014 Women’s Leadership Forum Planning Committee.
