It is expected that he will join the board in the late summer.Paul Stockton, aged 42, qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. In 1999 he joined Old Mutual Plc as group financial controller, becoming director of finance in 2001 and finance director of Gerrard Limited eight months later. Following the sale of Gerrard to Barclays in 2003, Paul left in 2005 and has since worked for Euroclear in Brussels and is currently finance director of the Life Division (South) of the Pearl Group.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Kamerick, who joins BearingPoint after serving as executive vice president, chief financial and chief administrative officer for global executive level search and leadership consulting services provider, Heidrick &amp; Struggles International, Inc. (NASDAQ: HSII), will be part of the firm’s senior leadership team with responsibilities for the financial management of the enterprise.</p>
<p>As part of her portfolio, she will oversee all corporate finance and accounting functions, including corporate controllership, investor relations, tax, treasury and transaction services. Kamerick replaces Judy Ethell and will report directly to CEO, Ed Harbach. Ethell will remain with BearingPoint through July 31, 2008. “We thank Judy for her many contributions to BearingPoint particularly for her role in bringing the company current in its financial filings,” said Harbach.</p>

Mayo, an attorney and thought leader in trusts, estates and wealth management, brings more than 15 years of estate planning and legal experience to the company.  Prior to his retirement in June, President William Morrison, who opened the New Hampshire offices more than ten years ago, will work closely with Mayo to ensure a seamless transition.  Following that period, Morrison will remain with the company in an advisory capacity.</p>

<p>David, head of tax for Deloitte in the UK, is a member of the UK firm’s executive management team and board, and the global tax executive.</p>
<p>Alberto Terol, global head of tax at Deloitte, commented: “David has significant experience providing strategic, tax and transaction services to a wide range of multinational businesses, including some of our largest and most important global tax clients.</p>
<p>“I am delighted that David has agreed to take on this role in addition to his UK responsibilities. His experience will play a key part in Deloitte achieving its ambition to be the number one tax adviser worldwide.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Barber Harrison &amp; Platt, South Yorkshire&#8217;s largest independent accountants has announced two more senior appointments as part of the continuing plan to develop its specialist teams.Scott Burkinshaw has joined the firm as an associate in the tax department and Liz Rogers has joined as a manager in the firm’s Trust team.</p>
<p>Scott has a wealth of experience advising companies, their shareholders and directors in many areas of tax. These include mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, remuneration planning for directors and employees and general tax planning and exit strategies for owner managers.  He adopts a strategic and proactive approach to advising clients, underpinned by close relationships and based upon a thorough understanding of the client’s activities and objectives.  This commercial approach ensures that the tax advice is relevant to and compatible with the client’s needs.</p>
<p>Scott joins BHP after a spell working for Grant Thornton in Leeds and Sheffield.  He is looking forward to helping Barber Harrison &amp; Platt to fuel further growth through servicing both existing clients and also the buoyant South Yorkshire market place.</p>
<p>Liz has also come to Sheffield from Leeds where she spent the last 10 years working for Deloitte.  She is both ATT (Association of Tax Technicians) and STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) qualified.  Barber Harrison &amp; Platt has a substantial and very successful Trust department which advises fellow professionals and individuals on the use of trusts particularly in the tax arena.</p>
<p>Partner John Warner commented “I am delighted that we have added to the strength of our tax team with these two highly experienced and respected recruits who have both joined us from the Leeds offices of major firms of accountants.</p>
