Top 20 accountancy firm Saffery Champness has announced the appointment of Ben Melling as partner in the London office.

Ben joins the firm’s respected Tax practice from Rawlinson & Hunter, where he spent eight years as a partner. Prior to this, Ben was with Grant Thornton for 18 years, where he became a partner in 2000. Ben is a private client adviser and tax specialist, with a wealth of experience working with both UK and International private clients, dealing with their various and complex interests. He is well known for advising non-UK domiciled clients on both onshore and offshore matters.

This appointment is an important step in the continued expansion of the firm’s tax offering to UK and International private clients which has seen growth of more than 14% in the last year. With his significant expertise and experience, Ben will bring valuable additional resource to an already well-established team.
