Fred Lo appointed Global Head of Tax for JV between Johnson Controls and SAIC Motor Automotive Interiors

The new joint venture between Johnson Controls / SAIC Motor Automotive Interiors is called Yanfeng Global Automotive Interiors. The company is the world’s largest automotive interior parts supplier, with annual revenue of $8.5 billion and over 28,000 employees globally.

The JV has recently appointed Fred Lo as its new Global Head of Tax. Mr Lo is a highly commercial tax professional who has worked in-house since 2000. He spent time in Singapore with General Electric and then HP, before joining Medtronic where he became Tax Director for both EMEA and Asia Pac regions.

In his new role Fred will build a tax team of 11 staff. He is based in Cologne.
