Robert Jeremenko to lead new tax unit created by Joe Hockey
Joe Hockey’s office (in Australia) has confirmed that Robert Jeremenko, currently senior tax counsel at The Tax Institute, will join as Chief of Staff for the Tax White Paper Unit.
The Treasurer has created this new role to assist with the delivery of the Government’s white paper on taxation.
Mr Jeremenko started his career with the ATO before joining the Office of the Federal Treasurer. He then moved in-house with NAB for almost 5 years before joining The Tax Institute in 2010. He is taking unpaid leave from The Tax Institute to focus on this new project.
