BDO takes 2 tax partners plus team from Pitcher Partners

BDO Australia has hired Chris Ball and Adele Townsend as tax partners in the Brisbane office.

They both join from Pitcher Partners and eight other tax professionals are moving with them.

Chris is an experienced domestic and international taxation adviser with both listed and private clients in a wide range of industries including mining, mining services, transport, biotechnology, property and agriculture. He holds Directorships in companies operating in the coal seam gas, property, agriculture and investment industries. Prior to joining Pitcher Partners (11 years ago) he was a tax partner with EY.

Adele has a broad-ranging background. She trained with Deloitte but also spent three years as the Australian Tax Director for Boeing. She joined Pitcher Partners in 2011 and was made a partner in July 2014.

Adele also works as a lecturer for both the Queensland University of Technology and the Tax Institute and am currently a member of the Tax Institute’s Education Committee.
