Leigh Sayliss resigns from Stephenson Harwood for tax partner role at Howard Kennedy

UK Law firm, Howard Kennedy, has strengthened its Corporate Tax team with the appointment of Partner Leigh Sayliss.

Leigh joined the firm’s Corporate Tax practice on 5 January from Stephenson Harwood, where he was a senior associate.

He brings to the firm considerable expertise in a wide range of UK tax matters, including tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, real estate acquisitions and development, tax issues surrounding employment, private equity and venture capital investments.

Leigh has a particular strength in Real Estate tax matters and is a member of the Stamp Taxes Practitioners’ Group, HMRC SDLT Working Together Steering Group and HMRC SDLT De-regulation Group, working with HMRC to improve the Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) regime.
