Federal Tax Specialist, Kurt Koons, joins PwC Atlanta as Tax Partner

PwC in Atlanta has hired Kurt Koons into its FTS group (Federal Tax Services).

Kurt was previously a Senior Manager at EY, so this move also represents a step-up for Mr Koons. He had worked with EY for over 12 years before resigning.

Kurt works primarily with large multinational public companies in various industries, including: manufacturing, consumer products, technology, and pharmaceuticals. His range of responsibilities include identification and implementation of tax planning opportunities, tax accounting consultation, assistance with tax compliance functions, federal and state tax controversy, and management of his clients overall relationship with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
