In response to client demand, Justin Smith, a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Taxand’s San Francisco office, has been temporarily seconded to Alvarez & Marsal Taxand UK beginning in February 2010. Mr. Smith, who specializes in the area of transfer pricing, travels to London with the aim of improving the coordination of trans-Atlantic tax services between the US, UK and other major European markets.

With more than a decade of experience, Mr. Smith has served clients in many diverse industries, leading transfer pricing projects ranging from compliance to global strategic planning. Having spent the majority of his career in Silicon Valley, he brings a strong background in serving high technology clientele and advising on the tax effective management of intangible property.[/private]
