Porter Wright hires 2 new partners

[private]Porter Wright has hired T. Stephen Phillips and Marilyn J. Maag to its Cincinnati office. Both Mr. Phillips and Ms. Maag are partners in the firm’s Corporate Department and focus their practices on estate planning and wealth preservation.

Mr. Phillips is a member of the American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel and has taught Federal Estate and Gift Taxation and Estate Planning at Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law. A graduate of DePauw University, where he received his undergraduate degree, and Duke University, where he received his law degree, Mr. Phillips has been named an Ohio Super Lawyer® (2006-2007) and has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® (2005-2007).

Ms. Maag has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America®, included among the “Top 50 Woman Lawyers” by Ohio Super Lawyers®, and designated a “Leading Lawyer” by Cincy Business Magazine. In addition, Ms. Maag has been certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law and is a member of the American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel. An active member of the Cincinnati community, Ms. Maag received her Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati.[/private]
