Executive Compensation lawyer joins Dinsmore & Shohl as Of Counsel

[private]C. Mark Bongard has joined Dinsmore & Shohl LLP as Of Counsel in the Corporate Department and a member of the Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits Practice Group. He will practice in the firm’s Lexington office.

Prior to joining the firm, Bongard served as a Benefits Attorney and Senior Counsel for Ashland Inc. in Lexington. His prior experience includes ensuring tax and ERISA compliance for varied plans, including executive compensation plans. This experience includes plan design, plan drafting, plan compliance, managing litigation, business acquisitions and dispositions and preparing executive compensation disclosures on proxy statements. Additionally, Bongard served on the ERISA Advisory Council from 2003 through 2005. Bongard earned his LL.M. in tax from the University of Florida, his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and his B.A. from the University of Cincinnati.[/private]
